About the Artists

In a sea of big names comes two little fish: Heather Walker and Barry Williams.

The two met as art students, became friends, but didn’t start work on a collaborative project until grad school.

Williams is no stranger to comics having colored numerous titles like Chuck Dixon’s Iron Ghost, Atomik Mike, Monsterpocalypse, Red Dwarf: Prelude to Nanarchy, and Ghost Whisperer through Across the Pond and Frozen Beach Studios.

Walker is a media design specialist for A.O. Smith where she directs videos and oversees the company’s Online Training University. She moonlights as a portrait artist, working in traditional graphite, digital media, and photography.

Both Williams and Walker hold Bachelor Degrees in Art from Austin Peay State University. My Name Is Proxy is the first of what they intend to be many joint creative ventures.

We both want to tell visual stories. So it seemed a natural endeavor in between communication theory and media law papers.
